a HEALTHCARE TEAM THAT WORKS TOGETHER IS POWERFUL

Pearl Rose Wellness acknowledge the impact of working together to improve clinical outcome, quality of health care, and to increase patient satisfaction. Communication within the healthcare team helps for the patient's health plan to be more cohesive, efficient and  effective in the long term.

Referral physician and office staff

While communication is necessary to achieve the right outcome, coordination of services is critical for the patient's healthcare plan. 


The following information will help your staff to coordinate services pre- and post-surgery; 


  • A prescription is required to dispense any garments to the patient. Please fax or email the signed and dated prescription to our office.

  • Pearl Rose Wellness offers virtual consultations for same day appointment requests during business hours. Please allow 2-3 days for patients who would like to through insurance for their garments. 
  • For Fitting Consultation for Post-Op garments/ camisoles is recommended to make an appointment at least 1-2 weeks before breast surgery to allow time for consultation and shipping. 
  • If necessary, a certified fitter could meet the patient at the referral physician office for fitting. This option is limited to Pasco, Polk and Hillsborough counties. Office staff could request this option for the patient by emailing,
  • Please have the office staff contact our office at 813-409-3425 to make arrangements with our certified fitter, if patient would like to be seen by the certified fitter at the referral physician office and surgery is schedule within the week.   Thank You!

Rehabilitation centers, occupational and physical therapist

Pearl Rose Wellness is grateful to work with a professional, experienced certified fitter who understands the impact of guiding the patient through the benefits of wearing the right compression garments and be fitted correctly. In addition, our goals are to support the patient and help them understand this process. 


During the consultation, we'll assess the patient and the diagnosis, measure and fit with the correct garment, take the necessary time to explain the use of garments, maintenance and care of the garments, and follow-up with patient after the first 6 months for replenishment of garments, if necessary. 

 

*Providing the right tools for easy donning and doffing is key to compliance and we are committed to provide easy and affordable tools to help the patients during the application of the compression garments and encourage the patient to be participant in their care plan. 


Patient has the following options for compression fitting consultations:


  • In-office consultation at our location in Brandon, FL ( 3mi. from Riverview, FL  and Valrico, FL; 17mi. from Tampa, FL and 20mi. from Wesley Chapel, FL) same plaza as "The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce" building)
  • Telehealth fitting consultation for same day appointment during business hours.
  • If necessary, a certified fitter could meet with patient at the rehab facility during the therapist session for the compression fitting. 
  • Please contact our office at 813-409-3425 if would like to make arrangements for the patients to be seen with the therapist at their location. (This option is only available for Polk and Hillsborough counties)
  • For Rehab center in other counties, please call our office to speak with management to arrange services for your facility or use our telehealth appointment option.  Thank You!

i would like to partner with pearl rose wellness for a quarterly in-service for my office staff.

We know and understand the importance of educating the physician's office staff on a services line that will enhance the patient experience  of your practice. We want to be an extension of your services and our In-service is free of any cost to your practice. 


During the In-Service, office staff receives educational brochures from Pearl Rose Wellness, products samples for the use of the practice , a prescription note pad from us for patient's referrals, and patient pamphlets samples to give to patients during their physician appointment . (All patient pamphlets can be personalized for your practice)
